To promote and grow the game of tennis within our region by creating inclusive pathways for participation, competition, and coaching. Through structured leagues, tournaments, and grassroots initiatives, we aim to develop talent, support our clubs, and ensure tennis thrives across all communities.

To be a driving force in South African tennis development β where every child, coach, and club, regardless of background, has the opportunity to play, grow, and succeed in the game.
Organised in collaboration with TSA. Over 80 scholars from disadvantaged areas participated in this vibrant tournament.
Joburg Tennis hosted a training session to ensure coaches are certified in safeguarding, a requirement for working with children.
Held at the Annual Ambassadors Tennis Tournament in Pretoria. Equipment including racquets, shoes, and balls were collected. Robert received them from a representative of the Chilean Embassy.
Hosted at Ellis Park by Joburg Tennis. 311 entrants participated in one of the countryβs longest-running and most prestigious junior events.
36 primary school teams competed to represent Joburg Tennis at the National Rising Stars tournament in October.
In partnership with the City of Johannesburg. Over 80 disadvantaged scholars from Rabie Ridge, Alexandra, Turffontein, Kensington (Rhodes Park), and Soweto took part in weekly league play.
The US Embassy donated racquets, balls, and shoes to support grassroots tennis development.
Joburg Tennis applied for and received 15 pairs of tennis shoes from Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture. Distribution:
The Gauteng SACR Central Corridor, in collaboration with its partners, the City of Johannesburg (Sports & Recreation) and Joburg Tennis, has successfully concluded the Tennis Development League. This league featured participants from various regions within Johannesburg especially from the Townships and encompassed the following age groups: U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, U-19, and U-25, for both boys and girls. The event was held at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center in Soweto.
